.Dor is the musical director and conductor of the Oratorio Chamber Choir from September 2018

Dor began studying violin at age four with Rashi Levaot. Later he studied under Avi Abramovich and Ora Shiran. Graduated in the high school of Arts and Science, where he studied composition, theory and development of hearing in Bat-Sheva Rubinstein, Michael Wolpe, Andre Hajdu and Israel Sharon.  At that time, learned to play the trombone with Eli Aharoni and Mitchell Ross and won a scholarship to the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. He was received in the IDF orchestra where he served in his army reserve duty as a musician and conductor. He studied conducting with maestro Evgeny Tzrlin, and then at the Academy of Music and Dance under Avner Biron and Stanley Sperber

Dor  Magen participated as a singer in the choir at the Jerusalem Academy Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Stanley Sperber appeared with her in all important venues and touring in Germany. Sang in the Bertini choir under conductors Zubin Mehta, Kurt Masur and more. Various a capella singing groups,and appeared throughout the country. On top of that, Dor is making musical arrangements. His music is played by the best orchestras in Israel including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Meitar ensemble, and artists as Shlomi Shaban, Tal Friedman and others
