Rina Schechter

Rina was born in Ukraine

She graduated from the Latvian Music Academy in Riga, where she studied piano with Prof. Valdis Yannisis and an organ with Prof. Larissa Bulava

She immigrated to Israel in 1991. She participated as a soloist and soloist at the Liturgica festivals and the Abu Gosh Festival, accompanied by choirs and soloists. She also made a series of recordings on Israel Radio

She began working in the Jerusalem Oratorio Choir in 2014

At the same time she accompanies piano at the Ron Shulamit Conservatory in Jerusalem

Eliahu Svetov

Eliahu Svetov started working with the Oratorio Choir of Jerusalem in 2019. Eliahu Svetov was born in Jerusalem in 1996. He studied at high school and at the Conservatory of the Jerusalem Academy of Music under his teacher Larisa Baykin, and then continued with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance at the Academy in Jerusalem under Professor Michael Boguslavsky. Eliahu was awarded the Sharet Foundation Scholarship twice during his studies. Currently, he works as a piano teacher at the Magnificat Conservatory in the Old City of Jerusalem, as a piano instructor at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, and as a piano accompanist for several choirs, including the “Oratorio – Kammerer,” “Oratorio – Capella,” “Mevaseret,” and “Adam” choirs. Eliahu performs in concerts and festivals across the country both as a soloist and in ensembles, as well as an accompanist for choirs, singers, and various instruments.
